Dana started showing in October 1999, and in November, at 9 months she became a Canadian champion with BOW and BPIG. At the DPCC/ADPC specialty  week-end, in August 2000, she placed 2nd in Group and received an Award of Merit at the Alberta Doberman Pinscher Club Specialty. In  September, she placed 1st in Group. She then place third in Group in November after a short vacation in Arizona while I was in training. She finished the year 2000 number 12 doberman in Canada! We are so proud of her result at the ADPC Specialty in Edmonton in June 2001........ she finished Best of Breed in Specialty Show.

2002 will be a quite year for her, she will watch her little "sister" Zoé in the ring and will be entered only in few selected shows. 

We are very proud to announce that Dana gave birth to 7 nice puppies on July 20th 2002! The sire is Maxidobes Dream Maker (Drummer) learn a little more about him and the litter here. During Summer 2003, 4 of the puppies became Canadian Conformation Champions in a very short time of showing. The same year, Dana was rewarded Dam of the Year by the Doberman Pinscher Club of Canada as well as by the Alberta Doberman Pinscher Club.

On October 2nd, 2003, after a difficult summer we had to have surgery done for an Aural Heamatoma, and we took the opportunity to spay her in the same time. Dana is now enjoying a quiet life in our new home in Ontario, she is the Queen of the house and decide what she really wants to do, which is often just "dolce farniente".

On May 1st 2008 and after years of fighting with pain and immune system deficiency she left us. She was the dog that I always wanted to have, not perfect, but close to, a great temperament, a little stubborn but easy going, perfect guard dog when needed and best friend to any dog or human, she even accepted cats at time :).  She will always have a special place in my heart and will never be forgotten or replaced.

Dana already loves her

Zoé had a short and very good career in the conformation ring and got her Canadian Championship quite easily. She is now training in Agility and shows a real natural attitude for it. Unfortunately we do not have enough time to really explore more this fantastic sport. She got her first Qualifying Round on her first time ever in competition in February 2004 at a NADAC agility trial in Calgary. She had a very nice litter of 8 puppies in 2005 and in 2006 she was rewarded Dam of the Year by the Alberta Doberman Pinscher Club. She is now relaxing with her little brother George in her house in Ontario.

George is our first a Rat Terrier, and we learn to love the breed right away with that little guy. He is fearless with the girls and rules our house like the little prince he is.

Willow

Willow is a sweet heart and we all love her dearly, she is a great addition and had no problem fitting in our family. She is a beautiful girl enjoying life with Dana in Hamilton and she often go see her good buddies Zoé and George in St Catharines.
